Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using WhatBox ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. The Platform is operated by Abtikart Louis Trading and Services WLL ("we", "us", "Company"), a company registered in Qatar.

If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use the Platform.

2. Description of Service

WhatBox provides a WhatsApp Business inbox management platform that enables businesses to manage customer conversations at scale using the official WhatsApp Business API provided by Meta Platforms, Inc. The Platform includes team inbox, automation, analytics, and API features.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and have the authority to enter into legally binding agreements on behalf of your business. By registering, you represent that you meet these requirements.

4. WhatsApp Business API Compliance

Your use of the Platform is subject to Meta's WhatsApp Business Terms of Service and Commerce Policy. You agree to:

  • Only send messages to users who have opted in to receive communications from you
  • Comply with WhatsApp's messaging policies at all times
  • Not use the Platform for spam, harassment, or illegal activities
  • Maintain accurate business information in your WhatsApp Business profile

5. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You must notify us immediately at security@whatbox.qa of any unauthorised access to your account. We are not liable for losses resulting from unauthorised use of your account.

6. Acceptable Use

You must not use the Platform to:

  • Send unsolicited, spam, or misleading messages
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Infringe intellectual property rights of any third party
  • Transmit malware, viruses, or malicious code
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or other users' accounts
  • Engage in activities that could damage our reputation or the WhatsApp platform

7. Subscription and Billing

Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance. Meta conversation fees are charged separately and billed based on actual usage. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law. We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days' notice.

8. KYC and Verification

We may require identity and business verification (KYC) as part of onboarding or at any point during your use of the Platform. Failure to provide accurate documentation may result in suspension or termination of your account.

9. Intellectual Property

The Platform and its content are owned by Abtikart Louis Trading and Services WLL or its licensors. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Platform for your internal business purposes. You retain ownership of your content and customer data.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of the Platform shall not exceed the fees paid by you in the three months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

11. Service Availability

We aim for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Planned maintenance will be communicated in advance. We are not liable for downtime caused by third parties including Meta, cloud providers, or network outages.

12. Termination

You may cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or where required by law. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days as set out in our Privacy Policy.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Qatar. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Qatar.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email with at least 14 days' notice. Continued use of the Platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
